His grace, The Most Reverend Alandres E. Thompson, Jr was born in Detroit Michigan in August of 1976. Accepting the gift of salvation in September of 2008, he served faithfully under Pastor Tony Jackson, Sr., at Crossroads Christian Center of Jackson, MI for four years.
In 2011, Bishop Thompson was licensed as a minister of the gospel of Christ Jesus and later ordained as an elder in the Lord’s church, in December of 2012. In 2013, Bishop Thompson, his lovely wife of 20 years and three children, Taylor, Alexus, and Alandres III, moved to Phoenix Arizona, where they served under Dr. Juan M. Brown, Sr., of Progressive Baptist Church, Mesa, AZ.
In 2016, the spirit of the Lord instructed Bishop Thompson to plant a church; New Grace House of Worship and in January of 2018, the doors of the church opened. February 2019, Bishop Thompson was officially installed as senior pastor under the Episcopal covering of His grace, Bishop Quacy L. Smith, the Presiding prelate of Global Harvest Covenant Network, Inc.
To date, Bishop Thompson and his family continue to serve the Lord and the Body of Christ at New Grace with a strong apostolic and prophetic anointing, operating in the areas of deliverance, healing, and evangelism. Winning souls by the grace of Christ and living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission.
In November of 2021, Bishop Thompson was consecrated to the sacred office of the Episcopacy through His Eminence, Archbishop Devin Owens, Sr., and currently serving as Secretary General of Ecobal – The Ecumenical College of Bishops and Apostolic Leadership. Through earnest prayer and supplication, Bishop Thompson humbly accepted and assumed the great responsibility to become the Establishmentarian of the Glory of Grace Covenant Network in September of 2022 and was Enthroned as the Presiding Bishop and Chief Apostle of GGCN, in September of 2023.
It is with humility and joy to serve the Lord in the manner He desires with joy and hope in Christ Jesus.
